The digital obvi family – consisting of Hashtag#obviFORCE, Hashtag#obviCALC, and Hashtag#obviFLOW – optimizes the entire planning and production process in forming technology. 

With obviFORCE, press selection becomes significantly easier thanks to precise calculations of force buildup and stage forces. At the same time, the tool helps reduce tool tilting and blanking shock – leading to longer tool life and improved part quality. Its intuitive interface also shortens design time.

obviCALC supports process planning, especially in the calculation and optimization of transfer curves. For collision and clearance checks, obviFLOW offers a kinematic press simulation (KPS). This enables a better, cross-departmental understanding of complex tooling concepts and helps avoid costly design changes. It also enhances sales processes by allowing production data to be presented using realistic stroke rates instead of just tool specifications.

Process and stroke rate optimization also benefit from obviCALC. With smart motion optimization, setup technicians work more efficiently, and new employees can be trained faster. Setup times are reduced, motions are better synchronized – improving overall performance: more good parts, higher stroke rates, and lower energy consumption per part.
